Edwards nEXT85 air coolers and vent valve accessories (refer to Accessories for the nEXT85 on
page 78), which have the corresponding connector ed, are pre-congured to Aux output 1
and Aux output 2 for convenience and to provide plug and play ability. nEXT85 vent valves are
pre-congured to Aux output 1 and the default seng for vent opons 1 are appropriate for
this type of accessory. nEXT85 air coolers are pre-congured to Aux output 2 and the default
seng for vent opons 2 are appropriate for this type of accessory.
Bare wire versions of the nEXT85 air coolers and vent valve accessories are available, which are
not pre-congured. This enables any combinaon of accessory to be used and independently
congured and controlled on Aux output 1 and Aux output 2.

LED Descripon
Normal LED This green LED illuminates when the pump rotaonal
speed is above the normal speed seng, irrespecve
of whether the pump is accelerang or decelerang.
This LED is duplicated on both sides of the pump.
Status LED This yellow LED ashes with a 50% duty cycle at the
rotaonal frequency of the pump motor. At high
speeds it appears connuously illuminated. The LED
switches o when the rotaonal speed is very low or
stopped. If a service is due, this LED
ashes in a
sequence to indicate which service operaon is
required. Refer to Troubleshoong on page 65. This
LED is duplicated on both sides of the pump.
