Edwards nEXT85 User Manual

Edwards nEXT85 air coolers and vent valve accessories (refer to Accessories for the nEXT85 on
page 78), which have the corresponding connector ed, are pre-congured to Aux output 1
and Aux output 2 for convenience and to provide plug and play ability. nEXT85 vent valves are
pre-congured to Aux output 1 and the default seng for vent opons 1 are appropriate for
this type of accessory. nEXT85 air coolers are pre-congured to Aux output 2 and the default
seng for vent opons 2 are appropriate for this type of accessory.
Bare wire versions of the nEXT85 air coolers and vent valve accessories are available, which are
not pre-congured. This enables any combinaon of accessory to be used and independently
congured and controlled on Aux output 1 and Aux output 2.

Indicator LEDs
The nEXT85 pump has ve indicator LEDs. Refer to Figure 4 on page 30.

LED Descripon
Normal LED This green LED illuminates when the pump rotaonal
speed is above the normal speed seng, irrespecve
of whether the pump is accelerang or decelerang.
This LED is duplicated on both sides of the pump.
Status LED This yellow LED ashes with a 50% duty cycle at the
rotaonal frequency of the pump motor. At high
speeds it appears connuously illuminated. The LED
switches o when the rotaonal speed is very low or
stopped. If a service is due, this LED
ashes in a
sequence to indicate which service operaon is
required. Refer to Troubleshoong on page 65. This
LED is duplicated on both sides of the pump.
