Controlling the SAT camera
• Press to activate the functions and operation of the SAT camera
If this function is active (black symbol on green background), the insertion unit is active.
If this function is not active (white symbol on grey background), the SAT camera is active
NOTE!
With this button you can toggle the function of the left joystick between the control of the SAT camera and the insertion unit. At the
same time the display on the status monitor changes.
• Pull the joystick backwards / push the joystick forwards to move the SAT camera upwards / downwards.
• Push the left joystick to the left / to the right to make the SAT camera rotate.
• Press the joystick button to reset the SAT camera to the home position (center position).
Controlling the insertion unit
CAUTION!
Danger of damage to the crawler and the insertion unit
The home position function must not be activated during an inspection.
This may result in severe damages of the system
The movement can be stopped by pressing the right joystick button.
• Press again to activate the functions and operation of the insertion unit.
• Push the joystick forwards to move the insertion unit downwards.
• Pull the joystick backwards to move the insertion unit upwards.
• Move the left joystick to the left / to the right to make the insertion unit rotate to the left / to the right.
• Press
to reset the insertion unit to the home position (center position).
Controlling the feed unit
NOTE!
The further the joystick is moved in the corresponding direction the higher the feed speed will be. A quarter turn of the joystick
corresponds to approximately 25% of the maximum feed speed.
• Turn the joystick to the right to extend the SAT camera cable.
• Turn the joystick to the left to retract the SAT camera cable.
