6.5 Mains filter
Adding a mains filter to protect against electromagnetic interference also
makes the QC-PDS system comply with the European Directive on
Electromagnetic Compatibility 2014/30/EU.
The filters are supplied ·on request· by FAGOR ensure the QC-PDS
system is compliant with the current Directive.
Installation
Its installation requires a proper ground protection connection for the filter
and connection cabling that connects it to the QC-PDS system using the
shortest lengths possible.
It can be installed in any direction. The three-phase mains line is connected
to the L1-L2-L3 terminals (MAINS) and the load (QC-PDS system power
supply) to L1’-L2’-L3’ terminals (LOAD). Both terminals are printed on the
front side of the label. See their position within the system in section, 1.1
GENERAL DIAGRAMS.
The nominal line voltage must be between 400 (1-10 %) V AC and 480
(1+10 %) V AC and the line frequency between 50 (1-4.0 %) Hz and 60
(1+3.3 %) Hz.

MANDATORY. ALWAYS install main filters listed on the FAGOR catalog
when installing the QC-PDS system.
INFORMATION. This does not guarantee compliance with such EMC
Directive regarding the machine because it may have other devices that
could cause disturbances.
