8.5.6 Connecting the external braking resistor(s) to non-regenerative power
supplies
The external braking resistors are designed to be connected to the X15
connector terminals on the QC-PS-
main power supplies. These are
installed in order to dissipate any excess energy generated during the
braking of the servomotors.
Resistor model
See section, · 4.3 EXTERNAL BRAKING RESISTORS · for details on the
available external braking resistors. ALWAYS remember that at least one
must be installed.

installed in the bus protection module, QC-BPM-100. See section · 8.5.7
