8.3 System installation
8.3.1 Preparation
The step before installing the QC-PDS system, after knowing of the
external environment, is the PREPARING THE FASTENERS inside the
electrical cabinet. See chapter 11. DIMENSIONS, which specifies all required
values.
Unpack the motors, power supplies, drives, bus protection module (if
applicable), capacitor module (if applicable), auxiliary modules (braking
resistors, chokes, mains filters, cables, etc., if applicable) and other
elements comprising the QC-PDS system.
Mount each of the motors on the machine.
Install in the electrical cabinet all equipment and modules that make up
the QC-PDS system.
