8.4 Mechanical connections
8.4.1 Plate connection in the power DC BUS
The connection of the modules on the DC BUS are made using two flat
plates to join the under cover (+/-) terminals of the BUS DC of the power
supply with the under cover (+/-) terminals of the BUS DC of the adjacent
QC-DR drive, respectively. See figure.
ALWAYS install step plates and flat plates for any module size|0 in
intermediate positions or place several of them consecutively in the DC
BUS. See figure.
Remember that:
F. H8/10
A17 terminal. Attaching the power DC BUS between the power supply and the
drive.
F. H8/11
A17 terminal. Connection of the power DC BUS between modules size|0,
consecutively or in intermediate positions.

MANDATORY. The tightening torque to secure the plates to these
connection terminals must be between 2.3 and 2.8 N·m.
WARNING. ALWAYS connect a QC-BPM-100 module next to a QC-RPS-
- regenerative power supply if a controlled stop of the motors is
required in the event of a mains power outage. In the event that this module
is not installed, the motors will be stopped by friction.
MANDATORY. When installing a QC-BPM-100 module to the QC-PDS
system, ensure to connect it to the DC BUS and attach it tightly to the
adjacent module ensuring a proper electrical contact
.
