Install it vertically. Begin by placing the fasteners at the bottom. It is
advisable for using the Allen-type inner hex head screws.
While still holding the equipment, place the top fasteners.
If the installed power supply corresponds to a QC-PS-
model (non-
regenerative), then:
Mount the EXTERNAL BALLAST RESISTOR(S) outside of the electrical
cabinet. It is advisable
to install it vertically, free of obstacles and
protected to avoid contact with people. Use the Allen-type inner hex
head screws.
Select the corresponding EXTERNAL BALLAST RESISTOR(S) from table T.
H4/10.
Now:
Mechanically interconnect the main power supply, the auxiliary power
supply (if applicable) and all the drives.
Connect the plates on the +/- (A17) terminals of the DC power bus
found on the lower side of the auxiliary power supply to the +/- (A17)
terminals of the main power supply and so on with all the under cover
+/- (A17) terminals of the DC BUS of the adjacent drives.
Connect the internal communication bus using a ribbon cable between
X1 connectors of the units.
If the installation of a QC-BPM-100 module is required:
On the bottom, connect the plates to the under cover +/- (A17)
terminals of the DC BUS on the adjacent unit and the QC-BPM-100
module. This module can be installed in any DC BUS position.
If the installation of a QC-CM-75 module is required:
On the bottom, connect the plates to the under cover +/- (A17)
terminals of the DC BUS on the adjacent unit and the QC-CM-75
module. This module can be installed in any DC BUS position, but it is
recommended to install it on one of the ends of the bus.
