Final stage. View error messages (see C) or warning messages
(warnings) (see D), if any, on the electronic status display. When the
series ends, it begins a new sequence by repeating the same
messages.
Error codes and messages
Error codes and warning codes prompted by the power supply can be
viewed on:
the 7-segment display.
the SPY window of the WinDDSSetup application.
See chapter 14, section MESSAGE CODES FOR RPS POWER SUPPLIES of the
manual · man_dds_soft.pdf · regarding the causes of the prompted errors
and/or warnings.
Note that the system will not start running until all detected errors in the
power supply have been cleared.
Clearing it first requires the remediation of the cause and if it cannot be
cleared through the Error Reset input (pin 1 of X35), it will then require an
error reset. This RESET can be activated by pressing the button
incorporating the power supply above the X5 connector.
Selector switches
Setpoint for the DC BUS voltage
Both switches located to the right of the electronic status display and
beside the RESET button may be used to program a particular voltage
setpoint at the power DC BUS.
Depending on the selected switch settings (configurations), the power
supply will work in booster mode (RPS mode), boosting the line voltage
rectified at the DC BUS or in rectifier mode (RB6 mode) and, thus,
keeping the line voltage rectified at the DC BUS regardless of the value of
the line voltage.
