Note
With a combination of connection blocks and interlinking
blocks with metal on plastic or plastic on metal, always use
the appropriate screws for the interlinking block (see
www.festo.com\catalogue):
 With plastic interlinking block: thread−cutting screws
 With metal interlinking blocks: screws with metric thread
1.1.3 The power supply concept of the CPX terminal
The operating and load voltages for the CPX terminal are sup
plied via the interlinking blocks (see Tab.1/5 and Tab.1/6).
These conduct the operating and load voltages to the neigh
bouring modules.

and with alternative connections:

ate electrical circuits for the operating voltage for electronics/
