Storage compartments on the dash-
board
Example on the right-hand side
! It is permissible to load the right- and left-
hand storage compartments up to a maximum of
11 lbs (5 kg) each.
Covered storage compartment above the
center console
E To open: pull release handle 2.
Cover 1 swings upwards.
E To close: close cover 1 and engage it.
The cover on the storage compartment
must remain closed while the vehicle is in
motion.
Storage compartment under the twin
co-driver's seat
On vehicles with a twin co-driver's seat,
the storage compartment is under the seat
cushion (e page 70).
You can use the storage compartment for
the safekeeping of tools and other small
items.
Glove box
1 Locked

3 Glove box handle
i You can lock and unlock the glove box using
the key.
E To open: pull glove box handle 3 in
the direction of the arrow.
4 Card holder
5 Pen holder
E To close: fold the cover upwards and
push against it until it engages in place.
G Warning
Do not store any items in the storage com-
partment above the co-driver's airbag if they
protrude from the compartment. The co-driv-
er's airbag must be able to inflate unimped-
ed.
