Convenience submenu
Key-dependent settings
You can use the
Key
function to determine
whether the settings in the:
O Instrument cluster
O Lighting
O Vehicle
submenus are stored as key-dependent
settings.
E Use the buttons on the steering wheel.
E Press the V or U button repeat-
edly until you see the Settings menu in
the display.
E Press & to switch to the submenu
selection.
E Press the W or X to select the
Convenience submenu.
E Press the & or * button repeat-
edly until you see the
Key
message in
the display.
The current setting is highlighted.
E Press the W or X button to
switch key dependence
on
or
off
.
i For safety reasons, it is not possible to set
the
Key
function while the vehicle is in motion.
You will see the following message in the display:
Setting only possible at standstill
.
You can call up or reset statistical data for
the vehicle in the Trip computer menu.
i When you call up the trip computer again, it
always displays the last function which you
called up.
The units of the trip computer are country-spe-
cific and depend on the setting in the Instru-
ment submenu of the Settings menu.
Fuel consumption statistics after start
Use the buttons on the steering wheel.
E Press the V or U button repeat-
edly until you see the
After start
mes-
sage in the display.
1 Distance driven since start
2 Time elapsed since start
3 Average speed since start
4 Average fuel consumption since start
The average values for speed 3 and fuel
consumption 4 are first shown again after
a distance of 0.6 miles (1000 m) after re-
setting. Until then the display shows
---
for both averages.
i If you turn the key to position 0 in the igni-
tion lock or remove it, all the values are reset af-
ter approximately 4 hours.
The values will not be reset if you turn the key
back to position 1 or 2 during this time.
Trip computer menu
