The TPMS is unable to monitor the tire pressure due to un-
dervoltage or a malfunction, e.g. a nearby radio interfer-
ence source or excessive wheel sensor temperatures.
E As soon as the causes of the malfunction have been
removed, the TPMS automatically becomes active
again after a few minutes of driving.

The TPMS is malfunctioning.
E Have the TPMS and the wheels checked at an autho-
rized Sprinter Dealer.

The TPMS is not receiving any signals from one or more
wheels because:
O a wheel was replaced with a spare wheel without
wheel electronics.
O the highest temperature has been exceeded in the
electronics for one wheel.
O the electronics for a wheel are defective.
E Have wheels with wheel electronics units mounted at
an authorized Sprinter Dealer.

The Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) supply has dropped below
the 0.8 US gal (3.0 l) reserve mark range.
After the message appears for the first time, the remain-
ing DEF supply will last for approximately 1200 miles
(1900 km). The engine can then only be started another
20 times.

Once the number

is shown, the ; yellow engine diag-
nostic indicator lamp lights up and the engine can no long-
er be started.
E Top up with at least 2.0 US gal (7.6 l) of DEF
(e page 155).
After topping up, the system check takes approxi-
mately 20 seconds. The display message then disap-
pears.
