Replacing bulbs

Practical hints
E Press catches 1 down.
E Swing housing cover 2 in the direc-
tion of the arrow and remove it.
3 Low-beam headlamps
4 Halogen high-beam headlamps/xenon
headlamp cornering lamp
E Pull the connector off the bulb holder.
E Unclip the retainer spring and remove
the bulb.
E Insert the new bulb so that the base lo-
cates in the recess of the bulb holder.
E Clip on the retainer spring and plug the
connector onto the bulb.
E Insert housing cover 2 into the lower
brackets.
E Fold housing cover ; against the
headlamp casing.
E Push catches : up until you feel them
engage.
Turn signals
E Switch off the lighting.
E Open the hood (e page 156).
E Turn bulb holder 1 and the bulb coun-
terclockwise and remove the holder.
E Press down on the bulb, turn it counter-
clockwise and remove it from bulb
holder 1.
E Press the new bulb into bulb holder 1
and screw it in clockwise.
E Place bulb holder 1 into the lamp and
turn it clockwise.
Parking lamps/side marker
E Switch off the lighting.
E Open the hood (e page 156).
E Turn cap 1 counterclockwise and re-
move it.
E Remove the bulb holder together with
the bulb.
E Pull the bulb out of the bulb holder.
E Press the new bulb into the bulb holder.
E Insert the bulb holder with bulb into the
reflector.
E Replace cap 1 and turn it clockwise to
the stop.
