Drive to a

The fuel level has fallen into the reserve mark range.
E Refuel at the nearest gas station (e page 154).

A reverse lamp is malfunctioning

The belt system has malfunctioned.
E Have the system checked at an authorized Sprinter
Dealer as soon as possible.

Switch off
lights
You have forgotten to switch off the lights when leaving
the vehicle.
E Turn the light switch to $.
Tail lamp
left
The left-hand tail lamp is malfunctioning

E Change the bulb as soon as possible (e page 245).

right
The right-hand tail lamp is malfunctioning

E Change the bulb as soon as possible (e page 245).

Tank open
Check
filler cap
The fuel filler cap is not closed.
E Close the fuel filler cap.
A clicking sound indicates that the fuel filler cap is
closed.
E If the malfunction continues to be indicated, have it
rectified immediately at an authorized Sprinter Dealer.

Third brake
lamp
The third brake lamp is malfunctioning. This message will
only appear if all LEDs have failed

E Consult an authorized Sprinter Dealer as soon as pos-
sible.
Turn signal
left
The left-hand turn signal is malfunctioning.
