14.2.4 Checking operation
Proceed as follows to ensure that the Headless server is fully functional after
the system board replacement:
Ê Boot the Headless server into the installed operating system.
Ê Establish a remote desktop connection to the Headless server from a client
computer running the Microsoft Windows operating system.

Remote Desktop connection" of the PRIMERGY TX100 S3 Core
Edition Operating Manual.
Ê If it is not possible to boot the operating system, boot the Headless server
from the Maintenance & Recovery DVD and establish a VNC connection as
described in section "Accessing the server using a VNC connection" of the
PRIMERGY TX100 S3 Core Edition Operating Manual.
Use PrimeCollect to gather diagnostic information and check the log files for
correct information on the serial number, BIOS version, as well as hardware
readings (voltages, fans, RAID controllers).
