4.6 Switching on the server
V CAUTION!
● Before switching on the server, make sure the side cover is closed. In
order to comply with applicable EMC regulations (regulations on
electromagnetic compatibility) and to satisfy cooling requirements,
the PRIMERGY TX100 S3 Core Edition server must not run while the
side cover is removed
● Follow the safety instructions in chapter "Important information" on
page 27.
Ê Connect all peripheral cables to the server.

Ê Press the On / Off button to start up the server.
Ê Ensure that the power-on indicator in the On / Off button is lit green.
