monitor.

attached to patient.
îš„ Electrode wire not secure in
legplate post.
îš„ Paste is dried or incorrect paste is being
used.
îš„ Electrode not properly attached.
îš„ No FECG signal.
îš„ Defective electrode.
îš„ Defective attachment pad.
îš„ Service required.
îš„ Ensure transducer is securely attached
to the monitor.
îš„ Secure attachment pad or legplate to
patient.
îš„ Inspect legplate connection.
îš„ Check ECG paste; re-apply, if
necessary.
îš„ Replace electrode.
îš„ Auscultate FHR.
îš„ Replace electrode.
îš„ Replace attachment pad.
îš„ Call Biomedical Engineering
Department.
Rate in FHR area of the display and the
FHR trend on the strip chart paper do not
correlate.
Monitor is set for 30 BPM/cm vertical scale
and 20 BPM/cm vertical scale strip chart
recorder paper is being used (or vice
versa).
