The FSpO2 area is summarized by Figure 3-8 and Table 3-8.
IMPORTANT
If FSpO
2 is monitored while MSpO2 is inactive, FSpO2 displays in
the Additional Parameters Area. When dual SpO
2 monitoring
occurs, FSpO
2 information is displayed in the Waveform Area
beneath the MSpO2 area.

Name Description
A FSpO
2 Value
This three-digit display indicates the FSpO
2 level
calculated form qualified optical pulses.
B FSpO
2 Mode Title
The
FSpO2 title indicates that fetal oxygen
saturation monitoring is in progress.
C Signal Quality Indicator
This indicator shows the average signal quality of
pulses being detected at the sensor site according
to a software algorithm in the 120 F-Series Monitor.
The presence of all ten bars represents fetal pulses
with consistently high signal quality for FSpO
2
measurement. Fewer bars represents diminished
signal quality. The absence of bars represents a
lack of fetal pulses with acceptable signal quality.

Pulse Amplitude
Indicator
This vertical bar qualitatively indicates pulse
amplitude at the sensor site.
