7 COMPLETION
Once you have changed the Gantry CPU board, you must perform the completion steps described below
in the following order:
• section 7-1, Software Check
• section 7-2, Calibrations
7-1 Software Check
Check whether the new Gantry CPU board software needs to be updated, as follows:
1. Reboot the Senographe system.
2. Go to the Service Desktop home page (see Launching the Service Desktop on page 120). Check
whether the current software version for the newly replaced Gantry CPU board corresponds to the
required software version for the current the ADS Application Software version that is running on the
system. Consult the table in the section Component FW/SW to ADS Version compatibility Matrix on
page 63 for the compatible software versions of the Gantry CPU board corresponding to the different
ADS Application Software versions.
3. If the Gantry CPU board current software version does not match the required software version, you
must perform a software update of the newly replaced Gantry CPU board according to the instruc-
tions supplied in the Gantry Software Update CD-ROM.
Note:
The TP2 connector is only ever closed with a jumper during the manufacturing phase of the Gantry
CPU board, when the base software is initially programmed. A jumper must never be present on
the TP2 connector in the field. Therefore, if you need to update the Gantry CPU you do not need
to close the TP2 connector with a jumper.
7-2 Calibrations
Carry out the following calibrations:

Collimation Check Job Card ELE A028 - Collimation Checks on page 679
If Collimation Check not OK, repeat Collimator Calibration
