6-7 Embedded Publications Installation
For V3 Control Stations that use AWS V53.10.10 or later, and V4 Control Stations, follow the instructions
given in Job Card ELE A044 - Install User Publications on page 755 to installed the Embedded Publica-
tions.
6-8 Restore Data
1. Restore AWS parameters from the system backup located on the backup diskette or backup CD-R.
See section 8 in Job Card ELE A052 - Back-up/Restore Procedure on page 776.
If the backup diskette/CD-R is not available, the patients in the Worklist will be lost, and the proce-
dures given in the Job Card ELE A013 - AWS Configuration on page 573 must be performed.
2. Because the IDC and Senographe parameter backup copies were held in the AWS, a new backup
must be performed in order to make IDC and Senographe backup parameters available.
Perform a system backup. See Job Card ELE A052 - Back-up/Restore Procedure on page 771.
!
Notice:
If this is not done, no backup for IDC and Senographe parameters will exist.
6-9 Declaration of Network Devices
Open the Remote Hosts Selection window (refer to Job Card ELE A023 - Declare Worklist Hosts on
page 671) and check that all network devices are still correctly declared. If not, do the following, as
required for each network host and printer:
declare the network hosts (refer to Job Card ELE A022 - Declare Network Hosts on page 663)
declare the printers (refer to Job Card ELE A020 - Declare and Set Printers (Filming Devices) on
page 585)
6-10 Update the AOP Configuration for Control Stations Running AWS V43.0 or
Later (SB150), V53.0 or later (U20) and V54.10 or later (Z400)
For Senographe systems that use AWS V43.0 or later (on the SB150), AWS 53.0 or later (on the U20) or
AWS 54.10 or later (on the Z400), if the Senographe system does not use the default AOP Classic (AOP
A) tables configuration, restore as necessary the AOP configuration (see Job Card ELE A031 - AOP
Configuration on page 693).
6-11 Functional Check of New AWS Unit
1. Power up the Senographe system and check that the message All devices are ready appears on the
AWS Screen.
2. If the above message appears, the Senographe system is now operational. If not, check that the var-
ious connections are correctly made.
3. Perform an image acquisition, then a network transfer to other devices.
7 COMPLETION
If the previous AWS unit used an external CD-R writer, explain to the customer that they must now use
the internal CD-R writer that is inside the new AWS unit.
