ERR SUB A003 - Gantry Error Messages
112/004 N/A ROTATION
MOTION UNCO-
HERENT
Occurs when pulses are sent by the coder whereas
the IPMS considers that there must not be any
motion. This check concerns the Lift, Rotation, Com-
pression, and Tilt nodes.
Reset the system from the X-ray Console. If the
problem persists call your OLC.
112/005 HALT ROTATION CORRE-
LATION ERROR
Occurs when signals from absolute coder (potenti-
ometer) and coding wheel (motor encoder) are not
correlated.
Refer to JC DIAG A1107 ROTATION CONTROL
FAILURE on page 951 to fix the problem.

112/008 HALT ROTATION BRAKE
DEFECT
Occurs when the Arm rotation brake has no current
or less than 1.5 A running through it. The brake cur-
rent is continuously measured, and this alarm is
raised if the brake:
- is released and there is not enough current through
it
- is operating and there is too much current in it

112/010 HALT ROTATION HARD-
WARE LIMIT
REACHED
Occurs when the IPMS detects that a motion has
reached the electrical stop limit. In this case the
IPMS stops and forbids the motion and sends an
error message.

FAILURE on page 951 to fix the problem.

112/011 HALT ROTATION OVER-
SPEED
Occurs when the speed measured by encoder goes
too high as regard to the speed profile (and correla-
tion is OK).
1. First, refer to JC DIAG A1113 ROTATION CON-
TROL FAILURE on page 953.
2. If the problem persists, check rotation mecha-
nism, if greasing required, refer to Job Card PM
A205 - Mechanical checks and lubrication on
page 1779.

112/012 WARNING ROTATION LOW
SPEED
The rotation speed measured by the encoder is too
low in relation to the speed profile (and correlation is
OK).
