122/001 HALT COMPRESSION
SOFTWARE
ERROR
The watch-dog receives a pulse from microcontroller
every 40 ms. If not, it resets the microcontroller,
node restarts and sends a boot-up signal to Gantry
CPU. The only possible reason for a boot-up of a
node after system power-up is a reset by watchdog.
Therefore, when Gantry CPU receives the boot-up
signal, it produces the SWOverRun error.
1. Change the Compression Board (Firmware prob-
lem: microcontroller or clock CPLD issue).
2. Perform a calibration of the Compression Force
Sensor.
3. Perform a Compression Thickness calibration.

122/002 HALT COMPR POTENTI-
OMETER DEFECT
There is a potentiometer defect. At all time, the node
checks that the signal coming from potentiometer is
within an acceptable range. If not, it sends this sig-
nal.

122/003 HALT COMPRESSION
ENCODER DEFECT
For every node equipped with a coding wheel. If a
coding wheel defect is detected through the comple-
mented HW lines, the IPMS stops, and forbids the
motion, and sends an error message.
The signal coming from motor encoder contains four
phases. A, A complementary, B, B complementary.
Node checks two things: complementarity +
sequence of phases.

122/004 N/A COMP MOTION
UNCOHERENT
The IPMS sends a CAN message to ask a stop
motion to system (message IPMS_SRS_ERR_023).
On every node except compression, this check is
performed on relative and absolute coders. On the
compression node, only the relative coder is
checked due to the manual compression ability.
(Occurs when pulses are sent by the coder whereas
the IPMS considers that there must not be any
motion. This check concerns Lift, Rotation, Com-
pression, and Tilt).
