Job Card DIAG A1000 - Gantry Diagnostic
2-2 JC DIAG A1004 LIFT CONTROL FAILURE
Diagnostic for:
102/001 error code (CAN code is 0x5038) absolute range error
Check the lift potentiometer mechanical movements, connections, and check for secure mounting.
Check the lift potentiometer cable (W203), cable connection to Lift Board J11.
Reconnect the W203 cable connector from Lift Board J11, measure the lift potentiometer resistance
continuity on the connector: between pins 1-3, 1-2, 2-3, moving the lift potentiometer shaft manually.
If a fault is found, change the lift potentiometer (see Job Card D/R A204 - Lift Potentiometer on page
1175) and cable.
If the lift potentiometer unit is good, change the Lift Board (see Job Card D/R A201 - Lift Board on
page 1161).
FRUs:
2-3 JC DIAG A1005 LIFT CONTROL FAILURE
Diagnostic for:
102/002 error code (CAN code is 0x5010, or 0x500F) speed error
Check the DC level of complementary outputs: A/A complementary, and B/B complementary on the
encoder connector: Lift Board J9 for W205.
The acceptable level is 5 VDC and 0 VDC.
(The signal is 4-phase: A/A complementary, and B/B complementary)
If the DC level is correct, change the Lift Board (see Job Card D/R A201 - Lift Board on page 1161).
FRUs:
If the Lift Board or motor unit is changed, recalibration is necessary!
