2-4 JC DIAG A1008 LIFT CONTROL FAILURE
Diagnostic for:
102/005 error code (CAN code is 0x5025) correlation error
102/010 error code (CAN code is 0x5003) optical fork1 error
102/012 error code (CAN code is 0x5004) optical fork2 error
• If a correlation error is reported, ensure that the upper and lower optical forks are in the correct posi-
tions.
• Ensure that the upper optical fork is in the correct position.
• Check to see whether the optical fork is covered. If it is, turn the trapezoid screw until the optical fork
is not covered.
• Recalibrate the lift (see Job Card CAL A031 - Lift Calibration on page 1687).
• If the errors persist or a ”Potentiometer out of range” error (102/001 error code, CAN code: 0x5038)
is reported during the calibration, check the lift potentiometer, change it if necessary (see Job Card
D/R A204 - Lift Potentiometer on page 1175), and start the calibration again.
• If the errors persist, check the lift motor and encoder cabling and connections. If any item is found
faulty, change the faulty item (see Job Card D/R A205 - Lift Motor on page 1179). If the cabling and
connections are good, recalibrate the Lift Board (see Job Card CAL A031 - Lift Calibration on page
1687).
• If the errors persist, change the Lift Board (see Job Card D/R A201 - Lift Board on page 1161).

2-5 JC DIAG A1011 LIFT CONTROL FAILURE
Diagnostic for:
102/015 error code (CAN code is 0x5026) overcurrent error
• Inspect the lift belt. If it is broken or not tight enough, it must be changed.
• Check the motor cable (between the coil wires, and between the control wires and the ground wires),
then measure the motor coil resistance).
• If the cable is broken, change the motor unit (see Job Card D/R A205 - Lift Motor on page 1179).
• If the cable and the motor are good, change the Lift Board (see Job Card D/R A201 - Lift Board on
page 1161).
• If the Lift Board is good, change the gas spring for lift compensation (see Job Card D/R A206A - Lift
Gas Spring on page 1183).
