Setting Description
Date and Time Instrument Settings > Date and Time.
Set the date and time. See “Set the Date and Time” (page 32) .
Supervisors can choose whether to automatically get the date and time from the
network. See “Enable the Date and Time to be Set Automatically” (page 32) .
NOTE: To change the following settings, use CCM. See “Congure Instruments
(Instrument Settings)” (page 83):
• Date Format (MM/DD/YYYY, DD/MM/YYYY, or YYYY/MM/DD)
• Time Format (12 hour or 24 hour)
• Time Zone
Battery Instrument Settings > Battery.
To view battery usage information, see “View Battery Usage Information Based on
System Resource” (page 33) .
Ethernet Instrument Settings > Ethernet.
Connect the instrument to a network using an Ethernet cable. For more information,
see “Connect to a Wired Network (Ethernet)” (page 34) .
Wi-Fi Instrument Settings > Wi-Fi.
Wirelessly connect the instrument to a network. For more information, see “Connect to a
Wireless Network (Wi-Fi)” (page 35) .
Security Instrument Settings > Security.
Use Wi‑Fi Enterprise Certicates to securely connect the instrument to the Wi‑Fi
Network. See “Update Wi‑Fi Enterprise Certicate” (page 98) .
Language Instrument Settings > Language.
Select the instrument language. See “Language” (page 37) .
Instrument Information Instrument Settings > Instrument Information.
To view read‑only information about the system (IP Address, MAC Address, SW version,
etc.), see “View Instrument Information” (page 37) .
POCT1-A Network
Settings
Connect the instrument to a POCT1-A compliant network for use with middleware.

CM Connection Settings Set the IP address and port (e.g., 50000 ) for connecting the instrument to the computer
that CCM is installed on. Consult with the institution’s network administrator. For more
information, see “Set Port Number and Encryption Mode for CCM” (page 38) .
Auto Send After a test, allow the instrument to automatically send the test results to a network.
See “Automatically Send Test Results to the Network (Auto Send)” (page 39) .
OID Entry Preference Specify the method of entry: Not Required, Required (Scan or Manual Entry), or Scan
Only. For information, see “Require Operators to Enter Their OID and Specify the
Method” (page 39) .
OID Reuse (During
Patient Tests)
Allows instrument to reuse OID from previous patient test. For information, see “Allow
OID Reuse During Patient Testing” (page 40) .
OID Reuse (During
LQC Test)
Allows instrument to reuse OID from previous LQC test. For information, see “Allow
OID Reuse During LQC Testing” (page 40) .
OID Reuse Duration Period of time before OID reuse expires. For information, see “Specify OID Reuse
Duration” (page 40) .
PID Entry Preference Specify the method of entry: Not Required, Required (Scan or Manual Entry), or Scan

PID Reuse (During
Patient Test)
Allows instrument to reuse PID from previous patient test. For information, see “Allow
