facility can change this checklist or design another to fit your needs.)
EXAMINE THE PIVOT POINT FASTENERS
Examine the pivot point fasteners semi-annually. Failure to do so could cause injury or damage.
1. Examine the pivot point fasteners (see Figure 6-1 on page 6-5).
2. If the pivot point fasteners (A) are finger-loose, or a gap is visible between the head of the bolt (B)
and the piv
ot block plate (C), do as follows:
a. Remove the bolt (B).
b. Apply Loctite® adhesive to the bolt threads.
c. Install and tighten the bolts to 45-55 in-lb (5.1-6.2 Nm).
