2.3 Power ON/OFF

WARNING
Check the following points before the power switch is turned on.
Power supply matches Rated supply voltage (100 to 240 V AC:
Voltage fluctuations of
10% from the rated supply voltage are
taken into account.) and rated supply frequency (50/60 Hz).
The Unit is correctly installed (Section 2.1).
Power cord is correctly connected.
The unit is properly grounded (Section 2.2).
NOTE
To ensure accurate measurement, after powering on, allow 30 minutes for
temperatures within the 8730-10, 8731-10 to stabilize. Then perform zero
adjustment and start measurement. For details, see 11.2.
Zero adjustment see Section 7.2.1.
When the unit is turned off, it memorizes the currently used settings and
reestablishes the same settings the next time the unit is turned on again. Note that
this will clear the waveform data.
