Flange mount
To mount a flanged transmitter, bolt the transmitter’s flange to the flange on the
tank.

On insulated tanks, remove enough insulation to accommodate the flange
extension.
Note: It is the End User’s responsibility to provide a flange gasket and
mounting hardware that are suitable for the transmitter’s service condition.

Ensure correct functionality:
To ensure a reliable electrical contact between the tank and transmitter, use
unpainted, metal bolts.
