Figure 2-5 Example 1, shows an ALM function block being used for Band Deviation Alarm - A control
loop process variable is compared to the loops working setpoint. A variable is used as the setpoint value to
allow periodic changes. (RSP enabled). The Output contains a tag identification that will be used to identify
the alarm state.
Example 2 shows an ALM function block being used to alarm on PV>SP.
