Block Properties
Double click on the function block to access the
function block properties dialog box.
Block Order (Read Only)
You can change the assigned execution order
number by selecting “Execution Order” in the
“Configure” menu and arrange the order to suit
your control strategy.
Input State
You can invert Input 1, 2, 3, 4, or all. If the input is
inverted, an input line that is ON is seen as OFF. (“N” on
Icon next to inverted input)
NOTE: Unused values must be set to 1 or inverted.
Example
Figure 2-8 shows a Function Block Diagram configuration using a 4AND function block. The function
block is being used to monitor 3 input signals for an alarm condition. Note unused input is terminated.
