Troubleshooting
4. Restart the server.
5. Check for the following normal power-up sequence to be sure that the server
meets the minimal hardware requirements and is powered up under normal
operation:
a. The front panel Power On/Standby LED turns green.
b. The fans start up.
c. The monitor displays messages regarding server initialization in the
following sequence:
Video initialization—The initialization screen is displayed.
Processor initialization
Memory test
Memory initialization
Diskette drive
SCSI devices (if applicable)
ATA devices (if applicable)
Option ROM
d. The operating system loads to complete the boot process.
If the problem persists, continue with the section, “Diagnosis Steps,” in this
appendix.
