Removing the Front Bezel
To remove the front bezel:
CAUTION: To prevent damage to equipment or loss of information, be sure that the
server is powered down, all cables are disconnected from the back of the server, and
the power cord is disconnected from the grounded (earthed) AC outlet before
removing the front bezel.
1. Follow the steps in “Powering Down the Server” in this chapter.
2. Pull up on the latch at the bottom of the front bezel, applying enough pressure to
release the latch from the chassis (1).
3. Swing the bezel upward, and then slide it out and away from the chassis (2). You
may need to exert a small amount of force to release the bezel from the chassis.

To replace the front bezel, reverse steps 2 and 3.
NOTE: When replacing the front bezel, be sure that the top hinge points are properly placed
in the chassis before rotating the front bezel into its original position.
