IS-IS basic configuration

Network requirements

As shown in Figure 63, Switch A, B, C, and D reside in an IS-IS AS. Switch A and B are Level-1 switches,

Switch D is a Level-2 switch, and Switch C is a Level-1-2 switch. Switch A, B, and C are in Area 10, and

Switch D is in Area 20.

Configuration procedure

1. Configure IP addresses for interfaces. (Details not shown.)

2. Configure IS-IS:
