355-Processor X, DIMM Y
Symptom
355-Processor X, DIMM Y – This NVDIMM-N was selected for Sanitizing/Erasing. All data saved in the
NVDIMM has been erased.
Cause
The NVDIMM was selected for sanitization and the was rebooted.
Action
No action is required. The reboots according to the Santitize/Erase on Next Reboot Policy settings.

356-NVDIMM Error – Sanitization Error
Symptom
356-NVDIMM Error – Sanitization Error - Processor X, DIMM Y – This NVDIMM-N was selected for
Sanitizing/Erasing but this process was not successful. Action: Retry Sanitization. Replace NVDIMM if issue
persists.
Cause
The NVDIMM has failed.
Action
1. Retry sanitizing the NVDIMM.

2. If the error persists, replace the NVDIMM.

357-IMPORTANT: Processor X, DIMM Y
Symptom
357-IMPORTANT: Processor X, DIMM Y – This NVDIMM is NOT an HPE SmartMemory NVDIMM. Only HPE
SmartMemory NVDIMMs are supported. NVDIMM will be used as a standard DIMM. Action: Use HPE
NVDIMM for persistency.
Cause
An unsupported NVDIMM is installed. The operating system will recognize the unsupported NVDIMM only as
a standard DIMM.
Action
Replace the unsupported NVDIMM with an HPE SmartMemory NVDIMM.
