Paper Feed Belt
Service Check
1. Power off (O) the printer.
2. Remove the printer covers. See “Printer Covers” on page 347.
3. Use a push-pull scale (IBM P/N 460870, or equivalent) to push on the lever to verify that the tension on the
belt is between 0.55 and 0.75 kg (1.2 - 1.6 lb).
