Hexagonal, square and section bars
With shaped bars, insert some bushes on the bar to
be controlled.
Position 2 bushes on both V-supports.
In that case, the measurement can be carried out
as shown in the figure.
Rotate the bar on itself and carry out the
measurement on a bush external to both V-
supports.
INFORMATION:
The use of the bar feeder for polygonal bar machining (hexagonal, square bars,
etc.) is allowed, accepting that this will lead to:
-higher wear of the guide channel (in comparison to round bars).
-bar rotation speed decrease (in comparison to round bars).
The higher wear of the guide channel is due to the shape of the bars as well as
to the material straightness and rigidity.
