5.2.2 Remnant conveyor belt - Adjustment
INFORMATION:
Check and if necessary adjust the belt
tension after the first 20-30 working
hours of the bar feeder.
• Move the bar feeder body backwards.
• Loosen the eight screws (A).
• Adjust the conveyor belt tension through screws
(B).
INFORMATION:
screw or unscrew the right and left
screws by making the same number of turns.
• Tighten the screws (A).
• If during operation the conveyor belt does not turn in a centred way, it will be necessary to
adjust the centring by using one of the two screws (B).
5.2.3 Elevator carriage chains - Adjustment
• Loosen screw (A).
• Act on screw (B) to adjust the chain tension.
• Tighten screw (A).
• Repeat the procedure for all elevator carriages,
if necessary.
