When the operator security mode is in effect, all operation information of any operator (hereinafter referred to
as "user") can be stored in the CS-3 as an operation log unique to that user. These users can be classified
into three categories as follows.
• Administrator
• Super User
• Technologist
User Name & Access Right
Administrator
This user holds the highest authority to access the system.
A system administrator of the CS-3 is entitled to this authority, and capable of doing any
operation.
Super User
This user holds the authority next to the "Administrator", and capable of editing the User
Tool except for "User Management" and "Operation Log Management".
Technologist
This user holds no authority to implement any setting on the CS-3, but "Study" only.
To use the operator
security mode, it is
required for the user to
keep the user name
and password in mind.
Refer to "User Tool"
manual for the details
of how to operate "User
Management",
"Operation Log
Management" and
"User Tool Operation".
When the operator security mode is in effect, it is necessary to input the user name and password when start-
ing up the CS-3 and restoring from the screen saver.
Log In
Log In at start up
1 Switch on the CS-3 Operation Unit stand-by but-
ton.
2 Depress the power button located on the front
panel of the CS-3 Control Unit.
•A CS-3 start up message and an OS (Operating
System) start up message will be displayed in
order on the CS-3 Operation Unit.
• After a short time, the CS-3 system start up screen
will be displayed. During display of this screen,
internal system initialization will be executed.
• After completion of initialization, the Log In Screen
will be displayed.
