CS-3 allows texts to be printed as an overlay on the printed film.
Overlay function includes “Marker” or “Stamp” that allows prescribed text strings to be printed at the specified position,
“Grid/Scale” that allows the grid or scale layer to be layed over the image and “Annotation” that allows text strings to
be allocated at any position.
These functions can be used in combination or alone by itself.
Overlay
“Marker”, “Stamp” and “Grid/Scale” can be predefined in the Exam Condition using
the User Tool. This is therefore useful to predefine and register “Marker”, “Stamp” or
“Grid/Scale” using the User Tool especially when any of these is required to be
overlaid for every output.
Allocating Marker, Stamp or Grid/Scale
Procedures to allocate Marker, Stamp or Grid/Scale is described below.
1 Expose following the normal procedure.
2 Touch the image area of the order on which an
overlay should be allocated.
• “Detailed Data Setting” screen (Image Processing)
will be displayed.
3 Touch the [Overlay] tab.
• “Detailed Data Setting” screen (Overlay) will be dis-
played.
4 Touch the [Marker1], [Marker2], [Stamp], or
[Scale/Grid] button.
• Touching [Marker1] button will display “Marker1
Select” screen.
• Touching [Marker2] button will display “Marker2
Select” screen.
• Touching [Stamp] button will display “Stamp
Select” screen.
• Touching [Grid/Scale] button will display
“Grid/Scale Select” screen.
It is not possible to allocate two or more same overlays. For example, it is not possi-
ble to select Grid and Scale at the same time from “Grid/Scale”. However, it is possi-
ble to select one each from Marker1 and Marker2.
