– Plug in connector  of the gear position sensor and of the side stand switch.
– Mount cable protector .

– Position SLS cover . Mount and tighten the screws.

Remaining engine screws M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)

– Plug in the connector of coolant temperature sensor .
– Plug in the connector of oil pressure sensor .
– Position the cable. Screw on the electrical connection on the starter engine. Mount
protective cover .

– Position SLS cover . Mount and tighten the screws.

Remaining engine screws M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)
– Mount and tighten the screw of ground connection .

Remaining chassis screws M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)
– Mount and tighten rear screw  of the starter motor.

– Install the filter box bottom. ( p. 30)
– Install the air filter. ( p. 28)
– Install the fuel tank. ( p. 33)

– Fill up with engine oil. ( p. 158)
– Take a short test ride.
– Read the fault memory with KTM DIA.
