Emergency STOP buttons (red) Make sure all emergency stop
buttons are pulled out.

Faulty harness between packer
module and control station
Inspect harness for damaged
connectors or broken wires.
Defective green/yellow buttons Inspect button assembly. Check
contact/current.
The packer control station
selector switch is not in the
correct position
Check the packer control station
selector switch is set to the correct
control station.
Packer does not perform
enough cycles
Multi-cycle module
programming
Reprogram the module for higher
number of cycles (see Main Menu
on page 362).
Backup alarm and warning
buzzer inside the cab work
all the time
Tailgate proximity switch
adjustment
Adjust the proximity switch with the
tailgate cylinder (see Adjusting
Tailgate Unlocked Proximity Switch
on page 208).
Body-raised limit switch
adjustment
Adjust the limit switch rod with the
body floor (see Adjusting Body
Raised Limit Switch on page 207).
Proximity switch Check the proximity switch with a
multimeter or
VOM for proper
operation (O
N/OFF or click).
Faulty harness Check for continuity on the
electrical harness that is connected
to the proximity switch. Change the
electrical harness if necessary.
Arm is too fast/too slow Too much or not enough oil
flowing through the valve
spools
Adjust the amount of oil going
through the spools (see Arm/
Gripper Speed Adjustment on
page 384).
Flashing lights on
dashboard are always
blinking
Arm limit switch adjustment Align the lever with the gripper
finger (see Adjusting Arm Stowed
Limit Switch on page 214).
Cut off or defective power
cables
Perform a continuity test on the
cable or change faulty cables.
Faulty limit switch(es) Replace faulty limit switch(es).
