NOTE: Some units are equipped with an SSO bucket instead of a standard cart tipper. However, the
valve pressure adjustment is the same.
Adjusting Regeneration Valve Pressure
NOTE: This section deals with regeneration valve blocks that carry one of the following part numbers:
HYV08200, HYV08200-01, HYV08210 or HYV08210-01. These valves are equipped with a
relief valve that sometimes needs to be adjusted. Newer versions of regeneration valves (2014
and later) are not equipped with a relief valve, so no adjustment is needed.
Regeneration valves are used to increase the compaction effect of the packer during the packing stage.
To adjust the regeneration valve pressure, do the following:
1. Disconnect the fully extended packer proximity switch.
2. Start the truck and reduce the main relief valve pressure to 2,000 PSI by using the fully extended
packer function.
Pressure adjustment is done via the main directional valve.
