Removing cylinder
14. Remove the proximity switch target (see Figure 3-165) from the faulty cylinder and save it for the
replacement cylinder (see note below).
This only applies to a right-hand side cylinder being removed.
15. Replace the faulty cylinder (see Installing Replacement Packer Cylinder on page 125).
NOTE: Replacement cylinder may be new, rebuilt or refurbished.

Installing Replacement Packer Cylinder
To install a replacement packer cylinder, proceed with the following procedure:
1. Fix the proximity switch target that you saved to the cylinder that you are about to install.
This only applies to a right-hand side cylinder. If you are installing a left-hand side packer
cylinder, disregard this step.
