Inspecting Chute Cylinder
To inspect the chute cylinder, proceed as follows:
1. Start the truck and engage the hydraulic pump.
2. Fully retract the packer and position the chute on the hopper streetside (see Figure 3-113).
3. Lower the crusher panel completely, if equipped, using the CRUSHER PANEL DOWN switch on
the in-cab control panel (see Figure 3-114).

Never enter the hopper while the hydraulic system is engaged.
