5. Check the hydraulic tank suction strainers in bottom
of the hydraulic oil tank. Clean if necessary. (Figure
5-31)
6. Close the hydraulic oil drain valve by turning it back
to the original position (shown in Figure 5-30).
7. Unscrew and remove the hydraulic return and
charge oil lters on the exterior of the tank. (Figure
5-31)
• If equipped with the AWD option, remove the
two bolts on either side of the hydraulic motor
panel on the undercarriage. (Figure 5-32)
The front of the panel can be pivoted to access
the AWD charge lter. Unscrew and remove
the AWD charge lter. Reinstall the panel after
replacing the AWD charge lter.

8. Discard lter properly in accordance with
government environmental regulations.
9. Reinstall new hydraulic oil lters.
10. Carefully remove the cloth from the hydraulic oil tank
ll tube opening.
11. Rell the hydraulic oil tank (Citgo All Weather/
All Temperature Multiviscosity hydraulic oil is
recommended for this machine).
DO NOT overll the hydraulic oil
reservoir with oil.
12. Check the oil level at the sight gauge and add more
if needed.
13. Replace the hydraulic oil ll strainer cap onto the
reservoir ller neck and tighten securely.
14. Start the engine and operate hydraulic controls
several times.
15. Check the hydraulic system for any leaks.
Change Hydraulic Oil Cap
Strainer
The oil strainer is mounted in the hydraulic oil ller
opening under the ller cap. (Figure 5-31)
DO NOT remove the hydraulic ller
cap from the reservoir when it is hot as this can
cause serious injury. Allow hydraulic oil to cool down
to a warm temperature.
To change the hydraulic oil strainer:
1. Remove the hydraulic oil ller cap.
2. Remove the six (6) screws securing the strainer,
then remove the strainer and gasket.
3. Install a new gasket, aligning the six screw holes in
the gasket with the mounting holes on the reservoir.
4. Install the new strainer, aligning the holes in the
strainer with the mounting holes of the gasket and
secure the strainer with the six screws.
5. Fill the hydraulic oil reservoir with (recommend
Citgo All Weather/All Temperature Multiviscosity
hydraulic oil).
DO NOT overll the hydraulic oil
reservoir with oil.
6. Check the oil level in the hydraulic oil reservoir. Add
oil if needed.
7. Reinstall the hydraulic oil ller cap and tighten
securely.
Hydraulic Pump and Motor
The hydraulic pump and motor generally require no
regularly scheduled maintenance. Frequent inspection
for leaks will indicate the need for service of these
components. See your authorized dealer for service if
needed.
