All-Wheel Drive (AWD)
The AWD option provides additional traction in all
weather conditions. The tires maintain a better grip
during rain or snow, in mud, and on gravel. AWD
provides better torque power for grading, pulling or low-
speed climbing and is especially useful when operating
on loose, low-traction surfaces.
DO NOT modify or alter any switch or
other component in the AWD system. Modications
can cause premature engagement or prevent
disengagement of the system, which could cause
injury and/or property damage.
NOTE: The Axle Work/Travel switch must be in the
Work position for AWD to function. AWD will
not function in the Travel mode.
To activate AWD:
1. Set the Axle Work/Travel switch to Work mode.
2. Turn the AWD switch to the ON position. (Figure
4-64)
3. Turn the AWD switch down (OFF) to disengage
AWD.
Cold Weather Engine Package
The Cold Weather Engine package provides the ability
to keep the coolant system warm when the grader is not
in use for easier engine start-up during cold weather.
Simply plug the connector into the engine as shown in
Figure 4-65, then plug the other end into a standard
electrical outlet (110-volt). Be sure to remove the cord
and keep it in a safe place when not in use.

Reverse Camera System
A reverse camera system is also an available option.
(Figure 4-66) This additional safety feature assists
operators when moving in reverse by using the rear
camera to see directly behind the machine when moving
in reverse.
