8.4.1.2 Tuning of the motor and the speed controller
The following describes in general how to opmise the speed controller. This may be required
if some parameters have on the load side of the drive system have changed or have not been
set yet, such as:
Motor moment of inera
Load moment of inera
Type of coupling between moment of inera of the motor and that of the load
Precondions
All rated motor data are known and set in the inverter, either by selecng the motor from
the motor catalogue or manually.

Opmisaon is possible online or oine (with or without connected motor).
Required steps
Adapt the following parameters to your drive system using the engineering tool. Since this
only changes load-dependent data, the other parameter groups must not be calculated again.
