PROBLEM 26
Jacking cylinder(s) will not extend or retract.
CHECKS
Check for 3,500 psi (241 bar) at valve test port while enabling jacking cylinder.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Faulty control valve section; Low pump pressure; Bad pump; Pressure
transducer bad; Faulty counterbalance valve.
Check for 3,500 psi (241 bar) at system test
port while enabling another jacking cylinder.
3,500 psi (241 bar) or more
Less than 3,500 psi (241 bar)
Yes No
Exchange both counterbalance valve
cartridges on problem jacking cylinder. Is
cylinder enabled with handle movement?
3,500 psi (241 bar) or more
Replace counterbalance valve.
Repair or replace jacking cylinder.
Voltage
No Voltage
Check for 28 volts at problem pin switch. (See
Section 3 -Checking Electrical Inputs/Outputs.)
Are solenoids magnetized when switch position is enabled?
Yes No
Replace power switch.
Replace solenoid valve/wiring.
Check system pressure for 3,500 psi (241 bar).
Pressure Ok Pressure not Ok
Repair or replace
control valve/wiring.
Check accessory/MAX-ER pump pressure output.
Repair or replace pump, if necessary.
