6.3 Rigging work for driving with a trailer
To reduce the axle loads to the specifications applicable in the country in
which you are working, you can set the main boom on to a trailer (dolly)
when driving.
For this purpose, the truck crane must be fitted with a slewing gear
freewheel, boom floating position and if necessary, with a boom
pre-tensioning device.
Before driving with the trailer, you must:
– Switch on the slewing gear freewheel;

– Switch on the boom floating position;

– Switch on boom pre-tensioning, if necessary;

– If necessary, mechanically unlock the turntable;
à p. 11 - 14.
