6.4.2 CHECKLIST: Mounting the main boom

This checklist is not a complete operating manual. There are accompanying
instructions, which are indicated by cross-references.
Observe the warnings and safety instructions specified there!
Prerequisites The truck crane is supported by an outrigger span of at least 8,70 x 2,71 m
(28.5 x 8.9 ft).
Checklist
1. Check whether the pressure relief for the derricking cylinder is switched
on;

2. Remove the tightening belt from the derricking cylinder;

3. Sling the main boom to an auxiliary crane;
à p. 6 - 26.
4. Lift the main boom into the turntable and align the connecting points;
